TED (Television, Entertainment & Design) Talks have become synonymous with creativity and always address very unique subjects in curious ways. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
In this new year I will spend many Tuesday Mornings w/ TED. When I find an exceptional talk I will share it with you.
This talk by Simon Sinek is one of my favorites and it ranks #3 on the all time TED Talk list with over 20,000,000 views.
Here are some learnings from Simons talk.
I traveled with our video crew to Minnesota to create this short film for Christmas Eve services.
People often wonder “how” God did what He did.
How did God become man? And the truth is I have no idea “how” He did what He did.
But as this short film shows … I do know for certain “why” He did what He did!
Merry Christmas, Friends.
It’s going to be a very curious New Year!
The Giving Keys exists to employ those transitioning out of homelessness to make jewelry out of repurposed keys that get sold and shared around the world. Each key is unique and carries a message like HOPE, STRENGTH, DREAM or COURAGE. When the wearer of the key encounters someone else who needs the message on the key, they give it away and then send us the story of their key being paid forward. I have long been a fan of The Giving Keys. Follow and communicate with the founder, Caitlin Crosby.
What you give: Help and employment to those transitioning out of homelessness.
What you get: Keys and an opportunity to do good.
If you feel blue during this season, you are not alone.
